Located a few minutes away from St George’s Works, The Shoe Factory Social Club has been supporting creative projects on behalf of Our Place in Norwich for several years, providing a meantime use venue for hundreds of community events and performances. The focus has always been on ensuring the events we hold are of value to the creative community of Norwich, allowing local artists, makers and performers to use the space to enhance and showcase their skills.

OVERVIEW
The Shoe Factory Social Club has established itself as a much sought after event and creative space for the city of Norwich. Having hosted art shows, vintage markets, open-mic nights, and the filming of music videos, the warehouse style space has been given a new lease of life whilst it awaits its regeneration.
MEANTIME USE
At Our Place we believe in making the most of spaces in our ownership. Whilst spaces await regeneration we think innovatively about how they can be used by the local community to support a variety of different industries.
